Write for us

We are always looking for sharp, original ideas from writers who notice what other people miss. If you have a useful guide, a strong point of view or a story that deserves more room than a social post, pitch us.

What we want to read

  • Culture, internet moments and online communities with something real to say.
  • Beauty and style ideas that are practical, considered and not just trend-chasing.
  • Honest relationship, wellness, money and work stories grounded in lived experience.
  • Smart explainers about technology, platforms and the systems shaping everyday life.
  • Home and lifestyle pieces that solve a problem or make ordinary life more interesting.

What we expect

  • Original work that has not been published elsewhere and is not sent to several outlets at once.
  • A clear, human voice: warm, specific and confident without being preachy.
  • Usually 800-1,500 words, with sources or links for factual claims.
  • Useful structure, clean copy and images you have permission to use.
  • Disclosure of relevant commercial relationships, gifted products or affiliate links.

How to pitch

Email theinternetchicks@gmail.com with the subject line Pitch: [your working title]. Include a short summary, why the story matters now, your expected word count, two or three relevant clips and a brief introduction. Please do not send a full draft unless we ask for one.

We read pitches as time allows. A commission is agreed in writing, and sending a pitch does not guarantee publication or payment.
