Editorial Policy
Editorial Policy
The Internet Chicks is committed to accurate, fair and original journalism. Below is a summary of how we work.
Independence
Our editorial team is independent of our commercial team. Commercial relationships never influence what we publish or how we cover a topic. Sponsored content is always clearly labelled.
Accuracy and corrections
We fact-check every story before publication. If we get something wrong, we correct it at the top of the article with a clear correction notice, and update the article body. The original version is preserved in the page history.
Sourcing
Wherever possible we link to primary sources. We do not republish press releases as articles without verification, and we do not run unedited contributed content.
AI and automation
We may use AI tools to assist with research, transcription and editing, but every published article is written, reviewed and approved by a named human editor. We do not publish fully machine-generated articles.
Conflicts of interest
Writers and editors disclose any financial or personal relationship that could be perceived as a conflict of interest. We do not accept payment in exchange for coverage.
Diversity and inclusion
We are committed to representing a wide range of voices and perspectives. We do not tolerate harassment, and we credit our sources, writers and contributors appropriately.
